The EU might “respond swiftly and decisively” in response to what it calls “unjustified” travel bans issued by the US on five Europeans working on combating online hate and misinformation, an EU official has said.

EU Officials Condemn US Action as ‘Coercion’

Officials from Europe such as the French president charged Washington of “bullying and threats”, following the travel bans targeted figures who have been at the heart of efforts to enact laws regulating American tech companies.
